I am looking for 5 people to be test subjects for a few of my online programs. What I want to do is take these people, run through the programs, and post before and after results on the website. In order to do this, I will need a before picture from you, before measurements, weekly measurements and pictures during the program, a journal of food and thoughts on the workouts, and final pictures and measurements, ALL of which you will allow me to post online, along with your name, so there is some responsibility on your part. Here are the programs I am looking for people to do.
The Killer Core Program- It’s a supplemental program in addition to your regular routine to really tighten and make your trunk strong throughout.
The Ultimate Booty Program- This one is for anyone who really wants an insane lower body, especially the behind.
The Ultimate At Home Workout Program- A whole program, based from your house, so people who don’t go to the gym, or people who can’t afford it, this one is for you.
The 6 Week Fat Burning Plan- Literally to shed as much unwanted bodyfat as possible.
The 4 week Six Pack Plan- Not for someone just starting out. I would like someone with a great base of fitness for this one.
If you know anyone who may fit the bill for any of these programs, I will give them to them for FREE, but all pre-requisites must be met. share this on your page or send to whoever you think may be interested. and message me on facebook or at tony@tonycress.com
OK. I normally don’t do random quick information. I usually have some underlying agenda, that is the lesson to be learned through my blog. Today, I am just going to tell you how to lose weight, and get ripped up in a hurry. This really isn’t rocket science, or even brain surgery. Which one would you rather try to do without having any knowledge of either? I think I would try rocket science, but I would stay FAR, FAR away when those rockets went off if I had anything to do with them. Anyway. On to how to get you turned into a lean, mean, fitness machine.
Really, the secret to this whole thing is three words. Fruits and Vegetables. That’s it. I know this works for me, and unless you have some sort of “thyroid condition“, it will work for you. If you decide to base your diet on fruits and vegetables, weight will come off… period. When I need to get lean, what I do is have a goal in mind, for how many fruits and vegetable servings I take in a day. Most people, I will bet you, don’t even get a total of four, so this is probably a good number for you to start with. Don’t worry about your protein content, or your carbs and fats. Just try to get 4 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Try to even them out too. If you are already doing this, try for 6. If you are already doing THAT, try for 8, and so on. If you are really killing it, i dare you to try to get 5 servings of veggies, and 5 of fruit, a day. Still eat whatever else you normally would like to, but fill yourself with the fruits and vegetables first. Get your protein shakes, or chicken and rice as well, but make the fruits and vegetables first and foremost. Give this a few weeks. When I started implementing this diet technique, I lost about 10 pounds in four weeks. I didn’t really change anything else to be honest. My workouts were the same, and I didn’t really do any extra cardio. This works. You don’t really need to know why, but it does help curb eating things that will keep weight on you, or even add to your weight. Try it out, give it a few weeks, and if you don’t start getting leaner, you can come and blow up my rocket.
Today, it’s cooling down in Las Vegas. It’s days like this that I enjoy the weather, and being outside. But enough about the weather. That’s not what we are here to talk about. Do you see the title of this post? If you saw that, and are reading this, you want to know what I eat. Well, let’s get to it. I am going to tell you what I ate, Friday, the 17th of September, because it’s 11 am Saturday, and my fitness nutrition has barely started for the day. Mind you, I have a photoshoot in one month, so right now I am eating to gain about two pounds in the next three weeks. Then my diet will change a bit the last week before the shoot. Anyway. To the menu!
At 7am, before I started training, I had myself a fiber cake from Trader Joes, a Met-Rx protein brownie, 12 organic strawberries, and a zipfizz. I can’t go without my zipfizz to start the day. Some people drink Starbucks, I drink zipfizz.
Around 11 am, right before my workout for the day, I had two pieces of sprouted wheat bread, with raw, creamy unsalted almond butter, and organic blackberry preserves. I also had a scoop of Super Pump 250. It’s like NO-Xplode, just a different company.
Around 2 pm, I tried one of those Gatorade Protein drinks. Not a huge fan of the taste, but I needed something quick.
At 5 pm, I had my Recovery 2:1:1 from Optimum Nutrition. Everyone I know except myself HATES the taste of this, but I love it for some reason.
7 pm was time for me to fill it up again, so I had a sprouted wheat bagel, with a vegan chik’n pattie and organic hummus. I had 30 purple grapes, and 20 juju fish. I can’t get away from sweets througout the day.
I was an idiot, and didn’t eat til I got home from work at about midnight, but I went to town! I had a spinach salad, with walnuts, and chicken breast, covered in raspberry vinagrette. I didn’t stop there though. Had my favorite restaurant in town, Bachi Burger, where I got this sandwich called the Lonely Bird. it’s a mix of chicken breast and turkey breast, with tomato and greens.
Throughout the day, I had about 3 liters of water, which is kind of low for me. But all in all, that’s about 3600 calories, 225 grams of protein, 80 grams of fat, and 485 grams of carbs. To say my diet is low carb, would be maybe the funniest thing since “Anchorman”. This works for me. It may not work for the next person, but i’ve experimented enough, knowing the breakdowns my body needs to look it’s best. In a few weeks, I’ll give you a day of the “cutting” diet. Now, I don’t eat this every day, because that would get boring, but this is just a sample of what i go through. How many calories do YOU get a day?
Ok. So I have a youtube video up on my page about the Shake Weight. Now, I guess I wasn’t totally clear on my views on this piece of “exercise equipment”. I guess some could watch this video, and think, “hey, this guy is in shape, this dumbell thing is making him talk funny, and he’s sweating. So it must be effective right?” That was not my intention at all. The whole video, was a sarcastic take on all the exercise gimmicks you see on tv. This is the problem with society and the way companies dupe people into buying their products. Now I don’t doubt that the shake weight serves some purpose in the fitness world. Actually, using it, I got a pretty good pump in my muscles. But using solely this device, you wouldn’t get very far in your weight loss or other fitness goals for that matter. You see the people on the commercials, all buff, and lean and stuff, but the harsh reality is that for those people, the first time they try that product is probably the day of shooting that commercial. These products can serve useful in CONJUNCTION with other exercise routines. If you used the shake weight, and that brazillian butt thing, and p90x, then maybe, you would have something. But what I was trying to get across is that it’s ludicrous to think that you could actually do JUST that, and have some crazy ripped body. Sorry for the confusion everybody. If you want to check out the video, just go here.
I have decided the Silverado Ranch area of Las Vegas needs a new kind of fitness camp. In the coming weeks, I am going to be using my TRX instructor certification to develop a TRX fitness camp. What we are going to be doing is integrating TRX workouts with traditional boot camp style workouts. If you guys don’t already know, I am in love with the TRX suspension trainer, and a majority of my own workouts occur solely on them. now, I know you all may have seen the shake weight testimonial of mine, but this is actually serious. I believe in all the benefits of the TRX, and ANYONE can do the workouts. We can modify for all fitness levels, and also change the workouts for strength, fat loss, cardio, power, and any other cool word you can think of. We’ll be starting the classes by the end of September, but these ones will be limited to somewhere around 10 to 15 a class. We’ll keep you posted on class times and start dates, but give me a holler if you are interested so I know how to prepare.
