Distractions Are Running Your Life

If you don’t change, there will NEVER Be a perfect time for it.

YOU have to invite it.
Not the date. not the beginning of the week. Not when your kids get back in school. Not when work slows down.

If you use rationale like this, you’ve already lost. You think fitness is temporary and you’ll never get CLOSE to where you want to be.

People say I’m too negative sometimes, but I just like to tell the truth, because I think a lot of people are living in a make believe land where their excuses somehow are justifications for their inaction or discipline or being distracted from their goals.

There is no perfect time to start.

It doesn’t matter if it is January 1st, on a Monday on an even year, September 1st, or July 17th on a Thursday at 6:47pm. You NEED to act.

Because, what happens when those kids get out of school again? What happens when work picks up again, or it’s THURSDAY? Or a holiday? Do you just fall apart again? Is that your plan?

We have to be more resilient than that, and an attitude of “everything has to be perfect for me to do it” is NOT going to help us. How much longer are you going to pretend the new season of Love Island means more to you than YOUR OWN WELL BEING?

Now is the time. NOW. It might start off ugly, rocky and annoying. But it finally STARTS.
